MAIN TASKS:

The main task of the Sourcing Manager is to ensure that the most cost effective supply chain is in place, to ensure delivery of our products to our clients on time and according to specifications, and to meet agreed upon targeted price points.

1.Responsible for the order management, product sourcing, quality control, and delivery of finished products
2.Establish appropriate supply chain to ensure most cost effective products are manufactured
3.Develop and agree with the Production Director on an annual surveillance programme for all areas of production, giving due consideration to risk versus volume
4.Using the surveillance program to plan and carry out the factory audits, and present results in a standard format
5.Ensure each delivery of finished product has a quality audit conducted and results recorded in the agreed upon format and according to the audit plan. Where necessary, provide feedback results to the manufacturing sources control and manage corrective actions
6.Work closely with our Sales Executive and Technical team to manage and control all fabric development, fabric testing, product design, pattern construction and sample making requirements stemming from new business enquiries and tendering projects.
7.Recommend new suppliers if necessary
8.Attend trade shows and exhibitions to enhance knowledge and keep abreast of the latest thinking and developments
9.Attend customer meetings when required.
10.Ensure best practice is in place regarding ethical trading standards

Requirement
Educational background:
4 GCSE’s or equivalent including English (CET 6 or TEM 8) and Math at grade C or above
Preferably the candidate has a Degree/Technical qualification or equivalent in textiles engineering, design, QA/QC or operations management
Professional background :
10 years experience in garments sourcing, export and merchandising
With at least 5 of these years of these spent in a technical /quality management role
Preferably experienced in dealing with off-shore markets and international customers
Technical skills:
Sufficient IT skills, particularly with respect MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Good knowledge of fabrics (also technical fabrics)
Soft skills:
Ability to persuade and influence
Competent negotiator
Efficient and effective communicator
Excellent planning/Organizing skills
Preferably Good presentation skills
Can easily build relationships
Language skills
Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English
Motivational requirements

根據(jù)審計計劃，確保每次出貨前都先進行品質檢查并以固定的格式記錄結果。在生產出現(xiàn)問題時及時提出糾正措施
根據(jù)新的業(yè)務咨詢和正在進展中的項目要求，與銷售主管和研發(fā)團隊一起管理和控制面料研發(fā)，面料測試，產品設計，圖案結構和樣品制作
如有必要，推薦新的供應商
參加貿易展覽會以提高知識并了解新觀念和新產品
必要時參加客戶會議
確保最優(yōu)方法符合貿易標準

要求：
教育背景:
-中等教育或相當學歷，成績優(yōu)異,英語達到CET6/TEM8
-最好有學位，技術資格證書或紡織工程,設計,QA/QC,營運管理等的相關證書
職業(yè)背景:
-10年服裝行業(yè)采購,出口和業(yè)務工作經驗.
-至少5年技術或質量管理方面的工作經驗
-最好有與國外客戶或市場溝通的工作經驗
技術技能:
-一定的IT技能，精通辦公軟件,尤其是MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
-對紡織品和紡織品工藝有很好的認知能力
