job duties:
working independently, performing all assistant merchandising duties, supporting the merchandiser to source men/kids bodywear / sundries products
samples, orders and shipments follow-up
requesting and compiling information into a vendor info file
organizing and maintaining a supplier database
visiting suppliers and factories to find garments needed for immediate domestic production and updating the production team of findings
maintaining files of development requests and organizing counter submits as they are received for review with the design team
actively prepare for and participate in seasonal buying trips
coordinating with german headquarter

requirements:
at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the area of merchandising, trading, sourcing office and/or garment/textile
experience in men/kids bodywear / sundries products
degree in business, garment technology, fashion design or related field of study
very good verbal and written english language skills
strong communicator on an international level
the ability to work independently with strong organizational skills, attention to detail while effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a fast paced environment
occasional domestic and international travel is required
interest and passion for fashion and/or garments
proficiency in microsoft office
